Preference to admission in 1st-semester classes will be given to candidates passed in the current year followed by the candidates passed in last year and the year before last year respectively depending on the availability of seats. Anyone passing the H.S.(+2)/Madhyamik (for diploma course) examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education or the equivalent shall be eligible for admission to the 1st semester of B. Mus. (Honours) course/D. Mus. of studies subject to the restriction of combination as laid down in T.U. regulations and by the College. Admission to all courses shall be made strictly on the basis of the merit of candidates. Practical examination and viva will be conducted to understand the technical know-how of the candidates. The mark of the Practical examination will be counted for merit list preparation. Eligibility for Admission A glimpse of a Rally organized by the Institute Blood donation camp in College. A candidate seeking admission in the Honours course can opt for two subjects according to his/her preferences. The second preference application form should be the photocopy of the original filled-up application form supported by all necessary documents. No student shall be allowed to prosecute two full-time courses offered by the University simultaneously. There shall not be any marks bar for ST, SC, and DA category of students being admitted against the ST, SC, DA reserve seats/quota. Reservation for SC/ST/Differently Able persons will be governed by State Government Reservation Policy for both Honours and General program. All admission will be provisional subject to the fulfillment of conditions and rules of the College and University. Students who desire to take admission from the waiting list will have to know their position from the college notice board every day during the admission process. A candidate must take admission in one college only. Admission taken in more than one college shall result in the cancellation of admission from all the colleges.
