Solid Waste disposal
The solid waste disposal system focused on the volume, and type of solid waste generated on the college campus. The volume of the waste generated in the college is not very high. Different types of solid waste collected are paper waste (used papers from offices and departments), biodegradable waste from the canteen, garden, and jungles cleared from college premises. To minimize paper waste single-sided used papers are reused for rough/draft writing work in the office. Classroom premises, offices, and sections have been provided with trash bins which have been cleared by the staff on a daily basis. One Container of Agartala Municipal Corporation is kept at the campus. Bio-degradable waste and other solid waste are collected in the various dustbin installed on the college campus, which is periodically dumped into the Agartala Municipal Corporation container by the laborer.
